Use a clear/similiar font type throughout digipak and advertisement which relates to genre

Stretch images as they will be out of focus
Use unnecessary effects as it might not relate to the genre
Use different fonts that doesnt relate to the genre

Planning of digipak and advertisement

This is my planning page of my digipak and advertisement. I have written all the information I will be including in my digipak and advert. I think it is very important to plan and get all your ideas together before starting to produce the digipak and advert. Planning has helped me alot as I know what to do and also how to make it better.

This is a mock up of my digipak. It is a brief idea on how i want my final outcome to look like. i have tried to keep the continuity of the fonts by applying it for both the title, and the song lists. The front cover and font had to relate with the genre to portray the right image to the audience. As in most didgipaks using a close up artists face is almost conventional conversely, i have decided not to use the image of the artist, since i will be having artistic images of props, background and patterns in which relate to the genre of the music. The aesthetic qualities of the front cover is superior because its the main part of the digipack which will capture the interest of the audience. Therefore i have to create an impact on the contents of ,my digipak.

 

To download the font of my choice that relates to my music video i downloaded my choice from www.dafonts.com which consists of a variety of fonts for different themes

This is a mock of my digipak. This is a brief outline on how I want my digipak to look like, I have used the continuity of the same imagery eg grafitti and movement/dance of our pop video as our genre is dance. The front and back cover has to relate to the genre and our target audience. I have decided to use similiar font types of an electro type font style which will appeal to the audience. I will not be using an image of the artist as this is not conventional to the genre as the majority of artists of the same genre do not use an image ofr the artist on the digipak.

Design activity - Lesson 31

In this lesson we had a tutorial on holw to use Photoshop and Quark as we'll need to use these programs to produce a Digipak and advertisement.
I learnt how to put effects and text on the image and learnt how to crop the image to make it fit into the panels of my digipak. This lesson was helpful as I learnt how to do different things which will make my coursework better.
